I’m Kenlyn Gordon, a licensed counselor (LMHC) in Des Moines, Iowa. I specialize in treating trauma, disordered eating & body image concerns, anxiety disorders, and depression. I use a holistic approach to therapy that aims to help you heal at a core level for sustained wellness. I love the work that I get to do... Nature Retreats
A connection with the natural world can teach us a lot about ourselves if we listen. There are many lessons to learn. Nature teaches us that peace is accessible in any moment if we cease to resist or struggle against reality and learn to surrender to what is happening in this moment. In a natural space we can access the parts of us that feel strong and beautiful. We can begin to sense that the true source of happiness lies within our own hearts and minds.
